StoreIT. Smart Warehouse Management System.
InventiX-StoreIT is a Smart Warehouse Management System purpose-built for Indian manufacturing. Unlike generic WMS products, StoreIT is engineered for factory reality — raw material, WIP and finished goods across a five-level location hierarchy, with barcode-driven movement, BOM-controlled issue and live integration with planning, production and procurement.

Why StoreIT exists.
Every item has exactly one place — Factory → Floor → Store → Rack → Bin. Every movement is a barcode scan. Every issue is BOM-controlled. The result is finance-grade inventory accuracy without the annual shutdown of physical counting.
StoreIT is not an island. It is wired into PlanIT (auto-reservation of materials against the production plan), TrackIT (BOM-based issue and WIP capture) and SourceIT (gate entry, GRN and QC) — creating a synchronised environment where production and inventory work in harmony.
Deployment is fast — typically 2 to 4 weeks — and the platform is web-based, cloud-ready and compatible with Android handhelds for shopfloor operations. Role-based access, encrypted storage, automated backups and MS SQL Server backend make it enterprise-ready from day one.
What breaks without StoreIT.
Book stock and floor stock don't match
Annual physical counts produce a week of disputes — and the books still don't agree with the floor at the end of it.
Material issued 'by guess'
Store keepers issue 'roughly what is needed'. Extra material walks out, waste hides in the floor, margin leaks silently.
Stock take stops the factory
Yearly stock count shuts production for days and still produces unreliable numbers — the worst of both worlds.
Material expiry & shrinkage
Without FIFO control and shelf-life tracking, expensive chemicals and trims expire on the rack — pure margin loss.
Untraceable movement
When a wrong item ships, nobody knows when, how or by whom the substitution happened. There is no chain of custody.
Slow stock turnover
Material sits in receiving while production waits on the line. Working capital is trapped in static inventory.
How StoreIT runs the process.
Inbound — Gate to GRN
Material arrives; gate entry → GRN → QC → barcode tag → putaway to designated bin. Every step is digital, every transaction is logged.
Putaway
QC-passed material is putaway to its designated bin via handheld scan. The system enforces the five-level hierarchy strictly.
Reservation
PlanIT releases the production plan; StoreIT auto-reserves required materials against upcoming job cards — preventing double-allocation.
BOM-based issue
Material is issued only against the job card's BOM. Over-issue is blocked; substitutions require approved exception with audit trail.
WIP tracking
Work-in-progress is captured batch-wise across stages — visible to planners, supervisors and management in real time.
In-house returns & adjustments
Unused material returns to stock via scan; stock adjustments require dual approval; every change is logged.
FG receipt & dispatch
Finished goods are received from production into FG store and dispatched against sales orders with pick-list driven, zero-error packing.
Cycle counts
Daily small cycle counts replace annual shutdowns. Reconciliation is incremental and visible; finance regains trust in the stock number.
What StoreIT delivers.
5-level location hierarchy
Factory → Floor → Store → Rack → Bin. Every item lives at exactly one location; finding anything takes a single scan.
Barcode-driven movement
Receive, putaway, pick, issue, transfer and dispatch — all by scan. Quick, accurate, with full chain of custody.
Inbound workflow
Gate entry → GRN → QC → stock in. Each step is mandatory, sequenced and digitally signed off.
Outbound workflow
Stock issue → return → transfer → adjustment. Every movement requires authorisation, every change is logged.
BOM-based issue control
Material can only be issued up to BOM quantity for the active job card. Excess issue is blocked; waste is captured against the order.
Automated reservation
Materials for upcoming production are reserved automatically based on the PlanIT plan — ensuring availability without overstock.
WIP batch tracking
Work-in-progress is tracked batch-wise through every production stage with ageing alerts on stuck WIP.
Cycle counting
Daily small counts replace annual shutdowns. Variance investigation is incremental, manageable and visible to finance.
FIFO & expiry control
FIFO-controlled consumption with shelf-life and expiry tracking for chemicals, adhesives and other perishables.
Live dashboards & alerts
Reorder level alerts, expiry alerts, ageing WIP, GRN/issue/return daily summaries — pushed to managers in real time.
Every detail, built in.
Location & identity
Five-level hierarchy
Factory → Floor → Store → Rack → Bin enforced at every transaction.
Barcode generation
Generate item, lot, location and pallet barcodes natively — no third-party label software required.
Mobile & kiosk access
Handheld scanners, mobile apps and fixed kiosks all hit the same live database.
Movement control
Stock posting & reservation
Real-time stock posting on every receipt or issue; pre-reservation against production jobs prevents shortages.
In-house return & adjustment
Unused stock returns via scan; controlled adjustment for loss, damage or discrepancy with dual approval.
Stock transfer
Inter-store, inter-floor and inter-factory transfers with full document trail.
Vendor & external flow
Vendor return & debit note
Defective or excess material returned to vendor with auto-generated debit note and dispatch documentation.
Leather DC in/out
Specialised delivery-challan flows for leather material movement to and from external processors.
Ad-hoc DC
Unplanned or urgent material movement handled via ad-hoc delivery challan with full audit.
Visibility & reporting
Stock ledger
Opening, receipts, issues, returns, shipments, closing — with weighted-average pricing and costing per item.
Consumption report
Tracks material usage at sales-order level — exposing actual vs BOM consumption per SKU.
Reorder & expiry alerts
Min-max-ROL alerts for critical items; expiry alerts for chemicals and adhesives — pushed to email and app.
StoreIT in production.

The measurable shift.
What customers measure after deployment.
Where the payback comes from.
Reservation and reorder logic prevent compulsive over-buying of safety stock.
FIFO control and shelf-life alerts catch perishables before they expire on the rack.
Daily cycle counts replace annual shutdowns; variance becomes incremental and manageable.
Five-level hierarchy and barcode-controlled putaway eliminate the 'where did we keep it?' problem.
Live stock visibility across stores and floors prevents the same item being bought twice.
